Sailing boats can be rented with or without a skipper on Lake Lucerne. In Lucerne there are numerous rental points with sailboats of various sizes and equipment.

In the Bay of Vitznau, the winds are usually not too strong and allow for relaxed sailing. Those who like it windy can look to Lake Uri, the southern part of Lake Lucerne, where good wind conditions usually prevail. But don't underestimate the lake. In strong winds, even professional British sailors have had to be rescued!
