Season Enc Concert at the Bistro-Bar Verrückt

Under the title „Songs under Ground“ the Bistro-Bar Verrückt is offering a very special musical treat at the end of the season. It will be a summit meeting of three internationally renowned musicians: singer Mark Waldispühl, pianist John Wolf Brennan and special guest guitarist Marco Jencarelli. The three musicians interpret rock classics at their best – completely new, completely different and yet familiar, quiet chamber music, in a small line-up, unplugged, reduced to the essentials. Timeless hits by the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Coldplay, Queen, Joe Cocker, Elton John, Stevie Winwood, Stevie Wonder, Jack Bruce, Tim Hardin, Led Zeppelin and more. For many years, Mark Waldispühl was the lead singer of Europe's No. 1 Led Zeppelin cover band „Led Airbus“, with whom he performed at numerous festivals in Switzerland and abroad. The „Weggiser Rose“ prizewinner John Wolf Brennan has been touring internationally for decades as a pianist with his groups „Pago Libre“, „SOOON“ and „Pilgrims“, with tours throughout Europe, the USA, Canada, Ukraine, Russia, Japan and China. Marco Jencarelli worked for 25 years as lead guitarist with one of Switzerland's best-known rock bands, the “Philipp Fankhauser Blues Band”, and has also worked as a sound engineer for countless bands in his Soundfarm studio in Kriens.
