about the event
Organ and flute on Assumption Day
Details
Music lovers will once again have the opportunity to meet local concert organist Olivier Eisenmann. As part of the Weggis Sunday Concerts, he performs together with his partner, flautist Verena Steffen. Their wide-ranging programme focuses on works by the French composer Théodore Dubois, who died 100 years ago. They will also perform compositions from the late Romantic period by Camillo Schumann, Josef Rheinberger and Sergei Rachmaninoff. The ‘Notturno piccolo’ by Austrian contemporary Helmuth Franz Luksch provides an exciting change of pace.
