Steigelfadbalm Cave

The Steigelfadbalm cave clings to the rock formation high above Vitznau and can be reached on foot from the village within an hour. The path there is steep but full of views and leads across meadows, past a farmstead and through steep rock formations. A prehistoric bear skeleton was once excavated in the cave, but don't worry -- the bears are long gone.
