Fish from Lake Lucerne are a rarity. The fisherman from Vitznau still goes out onto the lake daily and throws his nets in the hope of a magnificent catch. Due to the purity of the water, the catch quotas are low, but the quality is all the higher. Smoked and fresh fish can be bought directly from the fisherman.
